LAUNCESTON YFC recently held their annual dung run, raising over £1,000 for two local charities.
Preparations began on Thursday, February 22 where members gathered together to bag dung in preparation for the annual dung run, bagging over 500 bags in the process.
Three days later saw the main event with members meeting in Maunders car park in Launceston before setting off on the deliveries which took a couple of hours.
Lots of members worked together to get the dung delivered to Launceston and the surrounding areas, before many of them headed to the Wilsey Down in Hallworthy for a deserved carvery.
A club spokesperson said: “The dung run raised over £1,000 for our chosen charities which are Childrens Hospice South West and The Farming Community Network.
“A big thank you to everyone that ordered dung from us and for everyone’s continued support.”
