LAUNCESTON Voluntary First-Aid Service is inviting people to ‘Save a Life’.

On Saturday, February 6, at Kensey Vale Bowling Club at Newport, people can learn how to assist when someone is choking, the recovery position, and how to administer CPR.

Those who attend will gain a general insight of what to do in case of an emergency to help people of all ages.

Sonia Clements, of Launceston Voluntary First-Aid Service, said: “You are never too young and never too old to learn. Anybody can do first aid on anyone.”

There are two sessions on the day — the first from 10am to noon and the afternoon session will run from 2pm to 4pm. There will also be refreshments.

Launceston Voluntary First-Aid Service asks that people book their place on a session early to avoid disappointment.

To book a place or for more information, email [email protected] or call 07779 761 162.

The service welcomes new members. Visit the website for more information — www.lvfs.co.uk
