LAUNCESTON Community Fire Station have announced that they are set to take on Callington Community Fire Station in a seven a side football match.  

The two competitors look set to square up and settle the debate as to which station is the king of North Cornwall.  

The teams have invited the community to come watch the battle, marked for Sunday, February 4, at 1pm at Launceston’s 3G football pitch. 

Ahead of the clash, a spokesperson from Launceston Community Fire Station said: “One team has been taking it very seriously with lots of team talks and behind the scene training . The other team is Launceston.  

“Come and cheer on your local fire station. 

“May the best station win.”
