Kites on the Quay was a celebration to mark the end of Pembroke Dock Festival Week.
The organisers revived the tradition of hand-made kites taking to the skies of Pembroke Dock as they have done in years gone by.
As a result, 60 fabulous, colourful stunt kites were made, as well as dozens of windmills.
The medals were kindly donated by Pembroke Dock Civic Society and the winners were as follows - in two medal ceremonies - gold Jemima Perry and Melissa Price; silver Jared Pooley and Romany Hayward; bronze Maisie Asparassa and Hannah Clarke and family.
Christine Gwyther from Communities First said: "Events like this are very weather dependent. On Saturday, the weather was dry and sunny with a stiff breeze coming up the Haven. Brilliant kite-flying conditions and 60 kites took to the skies! It was lovely to see so many local families having such a good time and Communities First would like to thank all the volunteers who gave their time and their talent to make it happen."
Sue Perkins, chair of the Pembroke Dock Festival Group and Communities First, said: "Pembroke Dock Festival Group wants to give a big shout out to everyone who took part in this year's festival week. It is always a pleasure for the organisers when we see people turn out in their hundreds, and this year we had about 1,500 people at our Fun in the Park event which kicked off the week. Some great walks and talks followed, a strawberry tea at the Anchorage Centre and an open afternoon at the Encompass Community Hub. We are always proud of our town - but never more so than when people come together to have a great time and provide fun and memories for the children. Kites on the Quay - with 200-plus people coming along - was a nice way to round of the week, so a big festival thank you to Communities First and the town council for organising the day."
