JUNKIES shooting up with needles are believed to be responsible for splattering blood across a busy Teignmouth town centre loo.

The soiling was so bad in the baby-changing section of the Lower Brook Street toilets, between Waitrose and Wetherspoon, that the whole facility had to be closed for a deep clean.

Local councillor Sylvia Russell branded it as 'aboslutely disgusting and horrifying.'
