BUDEHAVEN sixth form student Joe Huxford has made excellent progress in his academic life this year — he has been given a conditional offer to read Physics at Wadham College, University of Oxford.

Joe began the application journey in Year 12, being selected for the University of Oxford Summer School, known as UNIQ.

He spent a week learning about the interview process and undertaking degree level physics work. Joe also spent time working with David Barton, Budehaven headteacher, developing his interview technique.
