Sir, I write in response to the letter from Mr. Allan Morris in last week's issue, 'Do we want Tenby to be a family friendly resort?' I agree wholeheartedly with every word. I have just moved here this year, but as I come from an old Tenby family, I have known the town all my life. It is definitely on the downward slide. I recall an incident that happened to my cousin and I one Saturday evening last summer. We were walking home along the Parade after having been out for a meal. Suddenly, a minibus pulled up and several men jumped out and started to relieve themselves up against the town walls. Nobody should have to put up with that kind of behaviour, adults and children alike. In light of all this, I was very pleased to read the article on the front page re. Operation Lion. I wish Inspector McSweeney and his colleagues all the best in their efforts. I hope it has some impact and, to quote Mr. Morris, the choice is yours.

Angela Tones,

Tenby.
