MEMBERS of the Royal British Legion joined Liphook Scouts and Guides at a VE Day service of commemoration and thanksgiving at St Mary's Church in Bramshott on Sunday.

It marked the 70th anniversary of the Victory in Europe and the service was conducted by Reverend Tony Halsey and the address was given by Reverend Alan Geddes.
