On a recent visit to Holsworthy Community Hospital a member of the John O’ Gaunt Lodge of the RAOB noticed that the two garden seats the lodge had donated to the hospital 17 years ago had become very tatty and were in need of some urgent care. He reported this back to the brothers of the lodge during one of their meetings and it was agreed that the RAOB would renovate them.

Brother Trevor Jollow collected the seats and took them to his workshop in Thornbury where rotten wood was replaced and stained and rusty metal was repainted. The seats were then re-presented to the hospital where it is hoped they will give many more years of enjoyment.
