As this year marks the Centenary of Girlguiding UK, the Okehampton Division decided to hold a 'Special Thinking Day Ceremony' to celebrate.

The Okehampton Division covers a large area and Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers from Boasley; Bradworthy; Chagford; Halwill; Hatherleigh; Holsworthy; North Tawton; Okehampton; South Zeal and Stowford were invited.

They assembled in Symons Park, Okehampton and led by the town band, marched to the castle for a short service and ceremony where all the members renewed their promise.

World Thinking Day which was held on Monday (February 22), is when Guides everywhere remember each other and their commitment to international friendship and understanding.
