MAINTAINING and improving Hampshire's highways remains a top priority for the county council, which is hoping to hold on to its top position in residents' satisfaction with how it looks after their roads.

Hampshire residents' views on highways and transport services will once again be compared with others across England, thanks to the national highways and transport public satisfaction survey.

Questionnaires are being sent to a minimum random sample of 3,300 Hampshire residents, with local and national results to be published in early October.
