Thorne Manor Day Nursery and Pre-School at Holsworthy recently held a fundraising and Healthy Eating week. The fundraising event this year was a pedal push to raise funds for Devon and Cornwall Air Ambulance. Children and staff pedalled bikes,

tricycles and pushed pushchairs up the end of the lane and back, which is one mile. They have raised well over £600 to date. Every three months, Thorne Manor holds a Healthy Eating Week when they encourage the children to try lots of new fruit and vegetables, cooking with them and making smoothies.
