POLICE are asking people in the Morwenstow area to keep an eye out for a missing, or possibly stolen, pony, after reports it had disappeared from its field in the village.
The pony (pictured) is named Jeremy and is an Exmoor-cross bay gelding, approximately 12 hands high, and is light brown in colour. Other ponies and horses were left in the field when it went missing sometime between 4pm on Saturday, March 25 and 12pm on Sunday, March 26.
A spokesperson for Bude Police said: “Livestock owners are asked to check their animals regularly and ensure fields are secure. Please be aware of unusual activity.”
