HOLSWORTHY Amateur Theatrical Society's production of 'Allo Allo' received rapturous applause from those who watched the comedy, which culminated on Saturday, May 26.
'Post' correspondent Christine Williams sings its praises after watching the latest performance.
This HATS production of 'Allo Allo', an adaptation for the stage from the popular TV comedy series by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft, provides two hours of hilarious entertainment from start to finish.
Even before the curtain rises the French café atmosphere of the theatre foyer, the background French accordion music and announcement by Herr Flic that anyone failing to turn off their mobile phone will be shot put the audience, some dressed in character, in the right mood for what was to follow.
