HALWILL Primary School hosted a fabulous Holsworthy Learning Community Mini Music Festival on Friday, June 24, in their vast school grounds.

Local primary schools joined together and took part in a variety of workshops including African drumming, steel-pans, Taiko drumming, Shred guitar, energetic dancing and learning how to mix music using sound technology.

The children culminated at the end of the afternoon and performed a range of playground songs.

There were also live performances throughout the day including students from Holsworthy Community College, who wowed pupils with their talents.

Halwill Primary School expressed thanks to everyone who participated in the Mini Music Festival.
