GARDENS in Treligga were opened for a charity event in order to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. Lorraine and David Jasper from St Teath organised the event in the gardens of Bet and Mick Hartley at Treligga, near Delabole, with the goal of raising money to help more than 1,000 people in Cornwall who live with Multiple Sclerosis. People of all ages were attracted to the gardens for cream teas as well as a plant sale, and prizes were donated for a tombola. More than £620 was raised, which will be donated to the Merlin MS Therapy Centre at Hewaswater, near St Austell.
