FRIENDS of Halwill School have successfully raised funds from the after school sale of produce grown on the school vegetable plots and donations from home plots.
These funds will go towards improving the horticultural experience for children and parents next year.
Three sales have raised £70 needed for paint and to replenish compost in the wooden raised beds. Passionate green-fingered parents are hoping to raise awareness about the "joy of growing your own" and eating fresh, local produce.
