New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Cornwall’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Mousehole AFC And Social Club at Mousehole Afc, Paul, Penzance, Cornwall; rated on April 29

• Rated 4: La Bocca at 24 The Strand, Bude, Cornwall; rated on April 12

• Rated 2: Burger King at 4 - 5 Station Parade, Newquay, Cornwall; rated on April 15

• Rated 2: The Old Watch House at 1 The Square, St Mawes, Truro, Cornwall; rated on April 12

It means that of Cornwall's 1,570 similar establishments with ratings, 1,266 (81%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
