New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Cornwall’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Castle Chicken House, at 39 Fore Street, Callington, Cornwall was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 24.

And Shanaz, at Shanaz Restaurant, 1 Edward Street, Truro, Cornwall was given a score of three on November 24.

It means that of Cornwall's 396 takeaways with ratings, 282 (71%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
