BUCKFASTLEIGH'S Globe Inn hosted a 'Have your cake and eat it!' morning on bank holiday Monday to raise funds and awareness for the town's upcoming Lamb Pie Day.

Bakewell tarts, Victoria sponges, fruit cakes, and even Ashburton carrot cake – courtesy of a recipe from celebrity cook Mary Berry and Tea at Taylors in Ashburton – made it on to the menu.
