THE first ever Camelford Young Farmers tractor run took place on Sunday, August 14, with ten tractors taking part.
Starting at Davidstow, they made their to St Breward for the Duck Race with lots of members, family and friends stood on the bridge to watch. There were also refreshments such as cakes and drinks available. In the end a grand total of over £400 was raised from the duck race.
Following that, the farmers got back onto their tractors and made their way from St Breward, through St Teath, Delabole and eventually onto Trevalga Farm where a barbecue and refreshments were served.
With great weather and a lot of people working on farms, it was great to have ten tractors come and support the event.
Thanks were expressed to everyone who took part or supported the event with all proceeds going to their two charities, Happy Hospital Children Fund and Cancer Research UK.
