A CROWD of over 120 supporters and friends watched an exciting game of rugby at Sir James Smith School on Sunday as Camelford RFC hosted their first home game, a return match against Bodmin, and ran out the winners by 8 points to 5.
In a game that was high spirited and fiery at times the home side managed to hold the visitors for the first 40 minutes before going ahead with a try, which was immediately matched by Bodmin.
However, in the final 10 minutes a penalty kick from Josh Parker put the home side ahead until the final whistle. The match was refereed by CRRS (Cornwall Rugby Referees Society) referee Austin Chapman.
Camelford have much improved since their opening defeat against Bodmin and now look forward to their next games against Bude and Perranporth.
