CREWS from Launceston Community Fire station were called this morning (June 12) to tackle a vehicle fire on the A30. At around 5.23am, one appliance from Launceston Community Fire Station was mobilised to a vehicle fire on the A30 just past Launceston. On arrival crews discovered the vehicle to be well alight. Two water pumps were mobilised to assist with the incident. A spokesperson from Launceston Community Fire Station explained: “Crews got to work extinguishing the fire. “Devon and Cornwall Police joined us to help manage the traffic due to the location.”
