CHRIS Coleman and the Lib Dems would like to thank everyone who voted Liberal Democrat in the elections. It was obviously not the best of times for us, but we are encouraged by an unexpected result.

Over 11,000 people joined the Liberal Democrat party in the week following the election and a significant number of these are in the Forest of Dean!

So the Lib Dems are not a spent force, but are preparing to fight again, with the European referendum and countycouncil elections our next objectives.
