A total of £2,500 was raised, in which a memorial table with a plaque was bought and is displayed on the patio of the restaurant.
A cheque for £2,200 was also presented to Alison Lobb who represents Cornwall partnership foundation trust charitable fund. This money will stay in Cornwall for cancer related care.
A spokesperson said: “We would like to extend our thanks to Luis Parody and Francis Parody the new franchise restaurant owners at the Golf Club and the members who donated monies to this wonderful cause for their involvement in this special day.”
