As we were going to press yesterday (Thursday), Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed they had been alerted to an incident at the Mill Pond, Pembroke, at approximately 10.35 am.

"A man was seen to enter the water," said a police spokeswoman.

"Ambulance and fire service are also at the scene. Road closures were in place, but it is due to re-open imminently."
