PARLIAMENTARY hopefuls have been put on the spot at a hustings in Haslemere ahead of the General Election on May 7.
South-West Surrey candidates Patrick Haveron (Lib Dem), Jeremy Hunt (Conservative), Louise Irvine (National Health Action) Howard Kaye (Labour), Susan Ryland (Green) and Mark Webber (UKIP) fielded questions from the public at Our Lourdes Church on health, housing, right to buy, parking, engaging young people in politics, abortion and the right to die.
Paul Robinson (Something New) didn't take part.
