ALTON College hosted a hustings to put East Hampshire's parliamentary candidates through their paces this week.

Damian Hinds (Conservative), Peter Bissett (Green), Alex Wilkes (Labour), Richard Robinson (Liberal Democrat) and Peter Baillie (UKIP) put their policies on the line on Tuesday.

Students packed into the Martin Read Hall for a debate chaired by former Student Union president Toby Millard to pitch some excellent questions covering subjects from the scrapping of Trident to the funding of sixth-form education.
