MEMBERS of the Bude Pubwatch Committee recently met and a number of incidents were discussed.

As a result of these discussions, eight further individuals were issued with bans from all participating premises in the area. Six people were sent warning letters, with a further two bans being lifted.

Acting Police Sergeant Monkton of Bude Police Station said: "This serves to illustrate that violent or anti-social behaviour associated within licenced premises will not be tolerated within the Bude area. Anyone behaving in such a manner will be dealt with firmly and swiftly, limiting their social activities in order to reduce the possibility of further offending."
