A COMMUNITY-led eco-development of 24 affordable homes is on the cards for Haslemere if residents give it the green light.

The site next to Lion Lane and Polecat Copse is also adjacent to the Haslemere development plan zone.

The equestrian grazing land has been owned by Joan Benjamin and her family for many years, who would like it to help meet local housing need using a ground-breaking zero carbon development blueprint.
