The Harriet Davis Trust was chosen by members of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Haverfordwest, as the charity to receive the proceeds of a collection made in lieu of sending Christmas cards.

Minister Jonathan Kirk and his family made the presentation of £261 to Elizabeth Sleight, development manager for the trust, when she was invited to a coffee morning to talk about the charity.

"It was lovely to meet church members and tell them about our holiday houses for disabled children," said Elizabeth. "I was so touched by their generosity and support in raising funds to refurbish our properties."
