St. Elidyr's, East Williamston, was delighted to have a full church on Easter Sunday afternoon to celebrate Easter. Theme was the rainbow, which was chosen because they are part of the Enfys ministry area.

They began by singing Lord of the Dance, had an opening prayer and welcome. Other songs and hymns sung were Sing a Rainbow (made famous by Cilla Black), Who put the colours in the rainbow, Who built the Ark and Colours of Day.

In between, those present heard from Kerry on why he made the rainbow. There was also a Bible reading from Genesis about Noah, and a quiz for the children to find Easter eggs hidden in parts of the church which had to be identified - the font, pulpit, pews, the eagle holding the Bible and the altar.

The Lord's Prayer was said and to finish, the hymn Give me Joy in my Heart was sung.

At the end, the children received bags of Easter eggs - and the congregation had some too. Tea, coffee and cake was served afterwards. Thanks go to all who took part and helped to make it a success
