The Delabole Village Quilters and Art Group recently held their first joint exhibition at the Methodist Chapel, Delabole. Everyone involved worked well together to put on a superb display of quilts and fabulous paintings. There are 12 regular members of the quilting group at present and the art group, which was formed in 2002, currently has 14 members, some of whom are art school trained. A collection was taken at the exhibition, and proceeds from a raffle and a quilted wall hanging are all to be donated to the Merlin Centre.

Pictured above with their wonderful display of quilts made by Liz King and the rainbow cushion with Suffolk Puffs made by Linda Hammond are Vicky Hann, Marion Trick, Mary Scarrett, Sheila Johnson, June Robert, Linda Hammond, Liz King, Lynda Redpath-Bergman and Sue Wilcox.
