EAST Hampshire District Council will vote on the largest planning application it has ever received next Thursday.

The hybrid application - for 2,400 homes, new town centre, shops, leisure centre, schools and more - is the most significant element of, what the council calls, the Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Project.

The application has been submitted by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation and, expected to be approved, the development would be a joint venture by Taylor Wimpey and Dorchester Regeneration.
