DAVID Cameron breezed into Crickhowell on Wednesday as part of his last-ditch rush to woo the voters.
He spent two hours in the town which is in the Brecon and Radnorshire constituency currently held by the Lib Dems.
The PM hopeful was trying bag the "marginal" as part of his bid to secure 23 more seats for a government majority.
The man who wants to be at Number 10 for a second term allowed himself the pleasure of a full Welsh breakfast at the town's Bear Hotel.
Breathless landlord Steve Hindmarsh said after the eve-of-election visit, "It was amazing to be caught up in at all. He ate all of his breakfast and left saying he liked the place. He hoped to return when he is less busy!"
He added, "He was a really nice guy. We wished him all the best."
During his short stay the PM was grilled by John Humphreys from Radio Four's Today programme about his chances of returning to Downing Street.
