POLICE are appealing for information on a collision on the A30 at Okehampton last Thursday, in which two elderly people were seriously injured.
Emergency services were called around 6.05pm after the collision between a large goods vehicle and a car on the westbound carriageway at Sourton.
The car’s occupants, an 84-year-old man and a 79-year-old woman from Launceston, were seriously injured and taken to Derriford Hospital where police said they remain in a serious but stable condition.
The HGV driver, 51, from Sheffield, was uninjured and was interviewed by police shortly after the collision.
A section of the A30 was closed for five hours.
