CALLINGTON Town Council is asking for suggestions on how to spend the 'community benefit' money attached to the Haye Road solar farm.
With £25,000 available, the council has agreed to set up a group to assess applications and make recommendations on how best to use the money.
The funds are currently being held by Cornwall Council, but negotiations are taking place for it to be passed over to the town council to administrate, said clerk Helen Dowdall.
'The money could be used for one large project, or for several smaller schemes,' she said.
'The town council wants to see what appetite is out there for use of this money.
'If there are individuals or organisations out there that have projects or suggestions we would be delighted to hear from you - so long as it is for the benefit of people in the parish.'
The closing date for applications will be June 1.
