This year will be the 125th Show for Holsworthy and Stratton, and the committe are going back into history.

Secretary Fiona Cleave said: “The show was established in 1883 and we are creating a History Marquee tracing the show from the early days to present day.

“We would like your help – Does your family have a history of showing Livestock through the years? How far back can you trace your family’s involvement in the Show? Are you a business that can trace a long-standing involvement in the Show? We are interested in receiving any memorabilia that you may have to add to the displays being created. Would you like to create your own display going back through the years with your own family? As well as Stock, the show includes the Flower displays, WI and YFC competitions and much more.

“How far back can anyone go? We have records dating back to the early 1900’s and before, could you go back to the beginning through your family history?”
