FIRE crews were mobilised in the early hours of the morning to reports of a combine harvester smoking near to Holsworthy Beacon.
Crews from Holsworthy and Hatherleigh attended the scene on Saturday, August 6, at 1.49am.
Upon arrival crews used a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera, along with small tools, to extinguish the fire.
It is believed the fire was caused accidentally by dust and straw.
