FOLLOWING the success of last years appeal, team members from Launceston's Co-op Stores and Funeral Care are appealing for donations again for their Easter Appeal 2024.
Members and customers are invited to donate new, unused and unwrapped Easter gifts, toys and of course, chocolate eggs, into the donation stations in store and at the Funeral Care centre.
The Easter donations will be collected and distributed to the Launceston Food Bank and included in their food parcels ahead of the Easter Holidays at the end of the month.
These parcels will then be given to local families and children ahead of the bank holiday weekend.
Co-op member pioneer for Launceston, Gemma Massey, said: “Last years appeal was so well supported, we were overwhelmed with the kindness and generosity shown my our customer and members, it is only right this becomes a regular feature in our annual community calendar!"
Store manager, Jonathan Opie, added: “Last years appeal was so well received, we are thrilled to have it running again and can not wait to welcome donations into stores again."
Customers and members are invited to drop off their donations in store from until March 25.
