STUDENTS from Callington Community College have recently been recognised for their hard work and achievements following their participation in the 48th International Chemistry Olympiad.
Earlier this year, a group of 18 A-Level Chemistry students from Callington Community College took part in attempting the 48th International Chemistry Olympiad, which was organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry and INEOS.
The competition involves an incredibly challenging series of Chemistry questions that have a recent and topical focus on real world issues.
Jess and Lawrence improved their performances, and achieved silver medals — only a few marks away from the desired gold award.
As well as this, Oliver Congdon also achieved a bronze medal for his excellent attempt, and the other applicants all received a certificate of participation.
