MEMBERS of ChAOS Music and Drama are preparing for three nights of journeys to the Emerald City.

The Chepstow-based group is putting on a colourful production of the ever-popular Wizard of Oz.

It features Rhianna Thomas as Dorothy – complete with sparkling, red shoes – Max Weight as the Lion, Carl Fielding as the Scarecrow, Shannon Blanchard as the Tin Man, Mo Fielding as the Wicked Witch and Karen James as the Good Witch.

There are four performances of the show at the Drill Hall in Chepstow at 7.30pm on Friday (June 12) and Saturday (June 13) and at 2.30pm on Saturday and Sunday (June 14).

ChAOS MAD is the longest-running dramatic society having been formed in 1908.

It performs at least two shows a year ranging from classic musicals to Disney-inspired pantomimes.

New members are welcome to join the next session which starts in September.
