A FUND set up specifically for the benefit of Haslemere and its residents is now worth £1m thanks to a mystery donation by an anonymous wellwisher.

The Haslemere Challice Community Fund operates as a partnership between the Challice Trust, originally established from a bequest made to the Haslemere community by Ruth Challice Bush in 1962, and the Community Foundation for Surrey.
