A CARAVAN was totally destroyed after a fire in the Bradworthy area.
Fire crews from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a caravan on fire on Friday, September 20 shortly after 12.30pm.
The caravan on fire was completely destroyed with a second static caravan reportedly suffering severe damage from the heat of the blaze.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Fire engines from Holsworthy and Hartland were mobilised to a caravan fire in the Bradworthy area this afternoon, just after 12:30pm.
“Fire crews confirmed that one caravan was well alight upon their arrival. The caravan was 100% damaged by fire with one static caravan severely damaged by heat.
“Two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, two thermal imaging cameras and one drag fork was used to extinguish the fire.”
