A BRIDGE has been closed until further notice after advice from structural engineers.

Broadwood Bridge, in Camelford, will be closed with immediate effect on the grounds of safety.

It is not yet clear when it might be open for access again, with Camelford Town Council issuing an apology for the inconvenience its closure causes.

A spokesperson for Camelford Town Council said: “Following advice from structural engineers, Camelford Town Council has made the hard decision of closing Broadwood Bridge until further notice, on safety grounds. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.”
