TAXI drivers in Petersfield have welcomed a new draft policy which states new drivers must pass a knowledge test and have "satisfactory" English language skills – but some have said a bigger concern needs to be tackled.

New standards for taxi drivers will be brought in by East Hampshire District Council to protect the public and help the trade.
