THE crowning for the Bridgerule Revel Queen took place on Sunday, July 23, in the village hall.

The Revel Queen for 2017 will be Miss Caitlin Braund. She was crowned at the ceremony by last year’s Queen, Holly Trayford.

Caitlin is eleven years old and has just finished at Bridgerule Primary School, she will be going to Holsworthy Community College in September.

Caitlin likes netball, swimming and photography. Caitlin said: “I am looking forward to Revel Week, especially the Carnival on Saturday night”.
