BRONZE, silver and gold medals were awarded for fantastic performances from Bradworthy Primary Academy's gymnastics teams at a recent event. Three teams from the academy entered the Devon Schools Floor and Vault Championships. The under 9s girls team consisted of Ellie Philips, Sophie Hudson, Jessica Wellington, Libby Rayment, Pheobe Wellington and Cerys Lewis. Under 11 girls team: Libby Purl, Ellenar King, Marie Poole and Imogen Old. Under 11 mixed team: Jasmine Njie, Cara Phillips, Anna Walter, Peter McCabery, William Bromell and Linus Carey. The under 9 girls team won gold medals, silver for the under 11 mixed team and bronze for the under 11 girls. Jasmine Njie was placed in the top ten girls and boys of the under 11 age group. Cara Phillips' vault score was one of the highest on the day, out of all the age groups.
