MENCAP received a welcome boost on Sunday when five teachers from Haslemere's St Bartholomew's Primary School put their best feet forward in the Frimley 10k charity road trail.

Headteacher Charles Beckerson together with colleagues Simon Avenell, Jack Moore, Andrew Orphanoudakis and Matt Walker, raised more than £570 for the charity, which supports people with learning difficulties.For full story, see this week's Haslemere Herald.
