HOLSWORTHY'S streets have been draped with vibrant displays as businesses and residents alike went all out for the town's recent floral competition.
'Holsworthy in Bloom' seeks applications from residents and businesses as the council tries to find the town's most green-fingered gardeners.
The judging panel for Holsworthy in Bloom met on the Thursday morning of St Peter's Fair Week and visited all the gardens that had entered.
The panel of three judges comprised Holsworthy's Mayor, Cllr Pauline Ede, the Portreeve, Philip Cole and the Freeman, Eileen Steele.
Michael Weeks was crowned winner in the best residential category for his stunning garden display in Dobles Lane, Holsworthy. Second prize was awarded to Mr and Mrs Hibberd of Wesley Road.
